A little history...

Fowler, Kansas was founded by George Fowler in 1884. Platted in 1886 and incorporated in 1908.  Fowler is known for its fertile farm land, beef producing industry, artesian wells, and the Fowler Gold Bug! Some of the origninal buildings are still standing despite the 1929 and 1930 fires.  The city was a prominent shipping point for the railroad in its early years. The Fowler Swimming Pool and Bathhouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
